Use and storage

USING YOUR PELLETS

WoodGate pellets are made for use in pellet grills and smokers designed to burn wood pellets.

  • Follow the instructions provided by your grill or smoker manufacturer.
  • Only use pellets in equipment designed for wood pellet fuel.
  • Keep pellets dry when filling and using your smoker.
  • Do not use pellets that have become wet, swollen or significantly broken down.

STORING YOUR PELLETS

Wood pellets naturally absorb moisture, so proper storage helps maintain their quality and performance.

  • Store pellets in a cool, dry location protected from moisture.
  • Keep opened bags sealed or transfer pellets to a clean, dry, sealed container.
  • Do not store bags directly on damp floors or where they may be exposed to rain or high humidity.
  • If pellets become wet or begin to swell or break apart, do not use them in your smoker.

Safety

FIRE HAZARD
Wood pellets are combustible. Keep pellets and pellet dust away from open flames, sparks and other ignition sources. Always follow the safety instructions provided by your grill or smoker manufacturer.

OUTDOOR USE ONLY
Pellet grills and smokers produce carbon monoxide during use. Never operate a pellet grill or smoker indoors or in an enclosed or poorly ventilated space.

USE ONLY AS INTENDED
Use WoodGate Pellets only as fuel in grills, smokers and other equipment specifically designed for wood pellet fuel. Always follow the equipment manufacturer's instructions.

NOT FOR CONSUMPTION
WoodGate Pellets are not for human or pet consumption. Keep pellets, pellet dust and packaging out of reach of children and pets.

SMOKE & DUST
Do not inhale pellet dust. Avoid breathing concentrated smoke or fine airborne particles. Always operate your grill or smoker outdoors in a well-ventilated area.

AIR QUALITY
Wood smoke contains fine particulate matter. Always follow applicable local burning restrictions and air-quality regulations when using your smoker or pellet grill.
